Interesting eBay Auctions - Graffiti Wall

Graffiti WallGraffiti artists take note. A graffiti artist in the United Kingdom listed and sold a wall painted with graffiti for 208,100 pounds (275,750 euros, 407,000 dollars) this past Monday.

I’m guessing the adjective “famous” needs to be inserted before “Graffiti Artist” in order to attract these kind of eBay bidders so don’t rush down into the basement for that half full can of lavender paint.

eBay Specials

About a week ago we were buried under close to 20 inches of snow here in South Bend Indiana. Two days later the snow and the cold broke and a January thaw came through melting every last inch of snow and all the piles of snow along the side of the road. It’s all gone.

With the warm weather came lots of rain. Some of that rain and melted snow ended up in the corner of my downstairs office soaking some individual boxes of new products I’ve yet to write auction listings for.

Oh well…shouldn’t have known better. And written those auctions sooner :-) .

Imprinted on the Owner’s Heart

Woke up, got out a bed, and dragged a comb across my head. Found my way downstairs and had a smoke, and somebody spoke and I went into a dream. Ahhhhhhh…ahhh….ahhh

Pretty close to the truth this morning, except for the smoking part. Actually I grabbed my Bible at 6:00AM and went to a new Men’s Bible Study some guys from my church have every Tuesday morning at our local neighborhood supermarket located here in South Bend. I’m wondering if these bunch of great guys are ready for someone as “out there” as me. We’ll see.

Woot is a Hoot

Whenever I start thinking I’m a bit “tweaked” in the head, I simply click on my www.woot.com Firefox bookmark and read a new Woot sales pitch for their product of the day. Being “tweaked” in the head must be a job requirement, scribbled down in the Woot Company Handbook by their fresh out of college Human Resource majors.

If my eBay adventure ever crashes and burns I’m going to send my resume over to Woot.com immediately, if not sooner, as I’m confident what’s left my fried green tomato brain cells will fit right in, as evidenced by my very first eBay auction.

The eBay Buck From Hell…..Part 2

In the last exciting episode of “The eBay buck from hell”…..Snidely Whiplash had just…..oh forget about it and go read it yourself.

In today’s episode……Nell Fenwick, the beautiful director of MarJan’s Marketing Department didn’t wait for me to ask a question, she chimed in right away with, “it might be smart Mr. Meany, I…I…I…mean Mr. McClean, to contact this disgruntled eBay buyer and try to get on his good side. This buyer will probably purchase the eBay item anyway and then let us have it right between the eyeballs with a fat juicy eBay negative feedback.”

The eBay buck from hell…..Part 1

eBay profit spreadsheetA couple of months ago after creating this simple eBay profit spreadsheet I determined to raise my shipping rates by $1.00 on a few specific eBay auctions I run.

Well, the day after I had the unmitigated nerve to institute such an outrageously blatant attempt to keep my eBay business solvent, I received an unfriendly email from an eBay auction lurker who must have been following one of these eBay auctions since he got out of diapers.

I’m taking the liberty to paraphrase his email as I don’t feel like rummaging through my past eBay correspondences that I archive in Outlook this morning.

Morning Coffee Routine

I’m brushing up on the latest Web 2.0 techno-jazz stuff that makes the Internet get all a Twitter these days when I run across Chris Pirillo of Lockergnome fame. Chris is about as sophisticated as it gets when it comes to driving traffic to his many popular web sites.

Chris creates YouTube videos to help people with all things computer. The Universe’s “Law of Attraction” decided to kick in at this point and brought me to a YouTube video Chris produced detailing his morning coffee making routine.
