Morphing Into Bill Gates
I had this weird dream last night.
Bill Gates came over to our house and wanted to talk about how we transformed a $100.00 a month ebay start up venture into a multi-billion dollar online enterprise.
I told my Butler Steve Jobs to take Bill into my office, fire up the iMac and I’ll be with him in a minute. An hour later I interrupted Bill downloading iTunes onto his iPod.
“Bill what can I do for you I’m a busy man”, I yelled.
“Yes, yes, yes I’m so sorry Mark, I’ll get right to the point”. It seems my Board Of Directors has been following your blog for the last few weeks and is quite impressed with your incredible success story.”
My nose turned up and head to the side I said, “Well Bill you see it’s like this, some of us drop out of Harvard, and make a fortune on buggy software, while others like me, take the high road and acutally sell something worth paying for “.
Lucky for Bill my alarm clock went off cause I was just about to give him a piece of my mind on why he hasn’t had any upgrades to Internet Explorer in 3 years.
