PitaPats Ebay Adventure

PitaPat! This name was given to me by my Uncle Bill when I was only 2! I used to run everywhere and he said, “I alwaysa know when yousa comin causea I hear da pitpat ofa you little foots. Alwaysa runnin, runnin everywhare! Dat’sa you PitaPat! Somea day yousa gonna be inna da olympics!” Can you guess yet? I come from a very large Italian family.

Well I never made it to the olympics and I don’t run much anymore. I’m a gettin too olda for dat!

I do try to run a good business though! I just really got started on the selling end. I know a great deal about the buying end. That is what my husband would tell you anyway. The buying has helped me know what it takes to give excellent service to my new customers! I treat everyone the way I would want to be treated. I believe in good communications and keeping my customers posted all the way from the purchase through the delivery. And I try to follow up a little too!

I am trying to cater to a variety of people. I don’t have everything listed yet. Still working on it! But I like the fact that I have many items I call “Big Value Gifts” for $19.95 and under. I like to give everyone the chance to afford something. They are high quality items - I know, I have a lot of them in my house. That is why I started selling them. My husband said that I might as well begin selling so I can afford to go on buying!

I love home decor, kitchen decor, scrapbooking and computers. I have some of the prettiest candles. I have them at my house too! People just love them with the dried flowers and a nice scent! I have decorated my home with many of the items I am selling. I always get compliments! And I would not sell anything I wouldn’t buy myself. I do a lot of research into the products I sell. It’s all kind of fun too! I have made many friends with sellers in my buying days and I hope to continue making friends in my selling days. (Of course, I am still buying - can’t help myself!)

Ahhh - The freedom of eBay! We need more money and I like my independence! I haven’t worked for several years now as I am disabled. . .so working from home is ideal for me. My husband is also disabled and we just found out last year that he has Alzheimer’s. So it is good to be able to do something from home so I can spend a lot of time with him and not leave him alone. I have 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with another great grandchild on the way! I have 5 children and so far only 3 of them have had children so I have a lot to look forward to. I have a son who lives in San Diego and I was out there this summer for his wedding. It was the most fun I’ve had in years! He married a wonderful girl. I truly enjoyed the delightful Mexican Wedding. I have a daughter who lives in Denver - they got married in Vegas-I wasn’t there! But I love her husband to death! Denver is also where my oldest granddaughter is and all my great grandchildren! She is expecting another one soon! They have the loveliest kids. (I think they are going to have a big family too!) My other 3 kids live here in MN close to me! I have three grandchildren who live here in MN too. I loved being a mother and I really love being a grandmother! (I came from a large Italian family, remember? Now it is Italian and Hispanic! I love it! I am going to have to learn some Spanish!)

My husband and I love our 5 Chihuahua’s. There is Bella, Blu, Bree, BeBe, and Bilbo! We also have a cat, Molly and a rabbit, Velvet. Velvet came to us on our driveway, abandoned! I guess I saved her life! She is sweet and loves to give kisses and rub noses and is a satin black. Molly is just Molly, a big Maine Coon/Siamese. I love my 35# cat!

We just moved into this home and I finally was able to put out all the stuff I have been collecting and buying. I am pretty ecliptic in my decor but somehow it all comes together! I love depression era and antique glass, and retro. My living room is like World Stock. I have a little something from many countries and, of course, my elephant collection. It is a very large collection! But I also have chimpanzees, giraffes, lions, and my painted ponies collection.

Well, got to go for now! I will probably add some more stuff to this about me page. I am also planning on adding some pictures. Can you guess of who?

Well, thanks for visiting. Be sure and stop into my store! I am planning on adding a lot of things in April (if I can pay my eBay fees)!

Bye:o),
