Powerful “Reasons”
Why did I start off on my eBay adventure? What images will buoy me to the surface when I sink below rough water’s?
Maybe I’ll imagine huge piles of 20-dollar bills littered throughout my estate or myself in a 3-piece Armani with a 6 inch Macanudo hanging from my lips as I blurt out the day’s orders to my Vice Presidents and Directors. Maybe I’ll hold fast to intangible images like personal freedom and the thrill of the challenge.
While those images are nice their power to inspire me is brief at best. It’s humble images like the “Wifey Poo” gardening daily in our yard because she no longer needs to work that scrap the barnacles of fear off my Ship of Discovery.
Adding value to the lives of those I love lifts me beyond where I want to go and keeps the journey real. When the going gets tough I’m grateful I’ve got someone to work for, someone who needs me and trusts I’ll lead them to a better place. Someone my dream is accountable too.
By the way Janet would kill me if she knew I used this picture, she hates it! But she’ll never find out cause she never reads my blog!
