You Are Never Alone
You only “think” you are.
Hello Mark,
Thanks for the update! And a special thanks for the refund on the postage.
You are an EXCELLENT eBay seller!
Regards,
Griff
I read this email yesterday and thought to myself, who the heck calls themselves “Griff” when I have no idea who they are. I glanced over at my eBay invoice and the name at the top says “Jim Griffith”.
“Why does that name sound familiar?”, I’m thinking. Then I look under the name and the address is:
eBay Inc.
2145 Hamilton Ave
San Jose, CA 95125

When I Look At The World
What would the world look like if all the focused energy of the thousands of millions of hours spent in the panicked pursuit of what we know will someday pass away, was invested with the same amount of dedicated urgency, unto the service of Him, whose still small voice, patiently calls to us from the other side of eternity.
It’s so much easier to work for what we see than for what we don’t.

Debbies Got Me Under Pressure
In the wise words of “Elmer Fudd” making moolay off a blog can be “vawee…vawee….twicky business”.
I’m desparate at nothing so if you see a few Google Adsense Ads having absolutely nothing to do with “My Ebay Adventure” know Google’s……….“Got Me Under Pressure”………and I’m mapping out a blog strategy that will get the “Love Advisor Debbie” Google Ads off this site.
But it could take some time. Whatever?
The chaff grows with the wheat before the final harvest.
PS: I just figured it out and Debbie is gonesville…

Another Good As It Gets Moment
Jimminies…….How cool is this?????
As my Led Zeppelin CD screams out “Communication Breakdown” through the computer speakers poised a foot from my ears….volume turned up so high it tests every woofer and tweeter inside, I can’t help but pause from my eBay shipping routine I’m enjoying to let my audience know I’m having another “as good as it gets” moment.
Just creating the right work environment in which to serve others in…
Yesterday a friend of mine called about 11:30 AM and asked if I wanted to go golfing. I hesitated, looked around for the boss, then remembered….oh yea….that’s me !
and told him……aaaahhhhhh……….YEP !!!! what time?

Tip From Dad
When I turned my back on the secure confines of my lucrative full-time job over a year ago I turned my back on the world’s definition of the word “job”.
For over 12 months now I have walked with steadfast determination to create my own definition of what a “job” is.
I’m a stubborn S.O.B., I really am. I refuse to turn “my quest to achieve my dream” into a definition I gave up everything to leave behind. Sometimes the world does get the best of me and I feel myself falling into old habits and patterns because it really is easier to think like everyone else. Stepping outside what the world defines as normal is risky and lonely business.
Without question these past 12 months have been the best 12 months of my life. But it ain’t been easy. And I’m not talking about “makin” ends meet and all the energy we all spend each day worrying about whether we can pay our bills, fill the refrigerator that feeds our families, or attract the “abundant life”……..please……spare me. Too many people are doing “mental back flips” with the desperate hope of attracting the “abundant life” already freely given them.
Sh.., that’s the easy part.
Break on Through
Each day this blog becomes more and more and act of faith. Clear skies give way to clouds. Past experience in different areas prove these times to be “testing grounds” for new and brighter horizons to come.
It’s how we are “recreated” anew. It’s how we “shed our skins” and break free from the chains of security that imprison our “present” selves. Only by walking with eyes wide open but not seeing, do we ever discover the limitless power hidden deep within our spirit.

A Tight Ship Changes Your Life
February was a slow month but I’m grateful for each sale. Total gross sales for the month of February was $5,440 on 231 sales averaging approximately $23.55 each. My sell through rate is still over 50% and I’m currently running about 50 live auctions and 190 store auctions. This is far fewer than most other eBay sellers I’ve tracked on Terapeak with gross sales similar to mine. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad, it’s just a metric I’m watching.
I’ve got the Tiger fist pump going with each sale now
BIGTIME! It sure is interesting living on the edge.
It’s not only interesting…………..IT’S LIFE CHANGING!!!
My office chair broke yesterday. The weld on the bottom of the chair gave way after three years of me leaning back on the chair more than I should.
My business is doing the same thing to me. It leans hard on me each day and is slowly breaking me of a lifetime’s worth of bad thinking habits. I feel a “tipping point” inching its way closer to me each day similar to the weld breaking on my chair.
This is good and I welcome it, the sooner the better!
