eBay “Touchy-Feely” Days Are Over
“The elimination of true mutual feedback completely changes the culture of eBay for the worse.”
This is a quote taken from an experienced eBay seller’s newsletter in response to eBay feedback changes announced recently.
This eBay seller, author and entrepreneur is far more experienced with eBay and it’s history than I am and his opinion is one that I value. Is he right? My opinion would take far to long to fully explain so I’ll just say, “Yes and No.” What I do know is that gone are the days an eBay seller can leverage “whether or not” to issue positive eBay feedback based upon how their eBay customer, who has already paid, “treats” them.

New eBay Feedback Test Program Cancelled
After reading this article entitled “eBay Cancels Test of Community Court Feedback Program” published by Auction Bytes, I’d love to know why eBay had to cancel the test program.
Doesn’t seem like a bad idea at first glance. There must be some things eBay knows that I don’t
.
Any thoughts??

Conversation With Ebay Customer
I had a conversation with a customer I received an email from a yesterday and want to share the experience with you. Here is the first email from my customer:
Bodum arrived in good shape …. However, it is constructed of boron silicate glass and not polycarbonate as you advertised. Do you have the polycarbonate bodums? Customer
My reaction to this email was one of disappointment and trepidation. Was I being purposefully ‘had’ by one of those horrible eBay con artists I’ve read about on one of the zillion eBay discussion groups out there that scare the dickens out of sellers? How should I respond? I spent hours on that ad for my auction and seemingly knew my product.
