The Color of Money
While the wife’s hard at work at her day job yours truly raids the linen closet for different colored backgrounds for my homemade light box.
I don’t know what the heck I’m doing but there’s a lot to be said for trial and error.
About a month ago a took a photo of my homemade light box and the digital camera I use down to a local Photography Shop and asked them why my pictures were turning out yellow with all the light I now had. They told me the light box looked fine and that it was probably the “white balance” on my camera.
Tinkering with the “white balance” on my camera did zippo to improve the quality of my pictures. All I could do was touch them up afterwards in Corel Photopaint.
But “lo and behold” giving my light box a blue background worked wonders.
The moral of the story……keep trying and trying and trying, there’s an answer out there somewhere.
